Search Engine Optimization Responsibilities and Abilities:

• Translate clients’ business goals into successful search engine optimization strategies
• Understand a technical site analysis, competitive/keyword research, and link analysis and be able to effectively communicate results to Client
• QA work from SEO Technologists including suggestions for optimizing various site elements, site structure, link popularity and copywriting
• Oversee SEO reports, which yield qualitative and quantitative trends
• Manage multiple SEO projects at one time
• Work with SEO Resource Manager to assign resources, ensuring delivery of SEO projects on time and within assigned budget
• Work with cross functional departments to develop and track all details of SEO initiatives
• Ability to quickly and clearly examine algorithmic best practices, opportunities and solutions that are applicable to a site property.
• Collaboration with cross-departmental team to feed SEO-specific findings into broader online strategies
• Strong ability in HTML languages and CSS to provide coding suggestions or create new pages
• Understanding of Yahoo Search Submit services, shopping & comparison search engines, data feed creation, requirements, implementation issues, and QA for various uploads.
• Continued effort to develop technology skill sets and industry certifications

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in SEO / Search Engine Optimization (natural search / organic search);
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to form customer relationships are a necessity
• Prior experience developing and recommending high quality web site optimization strategies with proven results & meeting client deliverables;
• The ideal candidate will have a solid technical understanding of HTML; working knowledge of JavaScript and various server side scripting languages, and experience in the technical production of websites, or web-related projects with that optimizing sites for search engines a plus;
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
• Able to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Media and Entertainment experience a plus;
• BA/BS in Marketing, Information Technology, eCommerce, Computer Science or related discipline.
