Digital Publicist, 360i

360i is seeking a Digital Publicist, who will work with the company’s Emerging Media division to assist in the development of and lead outreach efforts on effective next-gen communications campaigns for its clients, spanning beyond traditional PR. Candidates should be proficient in and passionate about Web 2.0, have an engaging writing style and a personable tone. You will be responsible for establishing strong working relationships and ongoing communication with bloggers, online journalists and social media community members, pitching stories and implementing strategic digital word of mouth marketing programs.

Qualifications

· BA/BS in English, Journalism, PR/Marketing or related field
· 2-3 years experience in public relations, preferably at an agency OR journalism experience
· Exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
· Superior writing and editing skills (must provide writing samples)
· Understanding of blog communities, blog monitoring, social networking, viral marketing and online community relations
· Highly organized with excellent project management skills and attention to detail
· Ability to take direction, work well under pressure and under strict deadlines
· Experience working in the media industry strongly preferred; contacts and relationships in a variety of online publications and the blogosphere a plus
· Good media references
