Position Summary
They are looking for an Innovation Project Director (IPD) to run fast-paced research/consumer insights, innovation and strategy development projects for leading global consumer brands.
The IPD will be responsible for driving innovation projects from trend analysis to identification of deep consumer insights, preparation of trend and consumer research guides, business reports and presentations. He/she will responsible for overall project and team management. Proficiency in writing client briefs and presentations is a must. Candidates must have experience working on similar projects for major CPG, consumer services and/or luxury brands with high levels of client management.
In addition, the IPD will be responsible for managing, developing and mentoring a team of 3, which includes 2 project managers and one coordinator.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include the complete supervision of projects, including:
• proposal writing
• trend analyses
• analysis of deep consumer insights and development of them into marketable ideas
• ideation
• writing client presentations/conclusions based on market facts and qualitative data
• concept writing
Tangible Delivery
• Contributing member of the ideation and brand strategy leadership team, both as project manager and in an intellectual capacity
• Project management and coordination of innovation and strategic consultancy projects, including market research.
• Organization and management of market research, including managing suppliers, putting together focus group guides and helping to create strategic commentary and documentation.
• Following the day-to-day project requirements of clients
Qualifications and Experience
• 7-10 years total in business and/or high level brand strategy consulting minimum, with at least 2 in innovation
• Management of 2 or more team members on a direct or project basis

He/she must be able to navigate among disparate functions at client companies as well as within the agency, and be an excellent writer.
