A unique opportunity in a growing field, we are seeking an accomplished advertising sales executive with a strong understanding and command of the online advertising industry. The individual must be a highly motivated and creative dealmaker with an extensive network and the desire to grow an exciting new company. The right candidate will receive salary, and a great incentive based compensation package with the possible inclusion of equity.

The candidate will have a strong desire to create new strategies for driving advertising sales. A fast learner, he/she must be interested in brand advertising and be attentive to industry trends with a vision to create a strong strategy and foundation for the ad network and its properties.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
-Create persuasive presentations
-Develop and implement customized sales plans
-Manage and maintain accounts
-Develop strong working relationships with clients and senior managers
-Prospect and penetrate new accounts to obtain branded marketing dollars
-Increase awareness of the ad network and its niche publications
-Analyze and improve upon current campaign performance statistics
-Continue site revenue growth.
-Recognize and articulate key business issues and research solutions as they arise

Experience and Skills:
-Interactive/web sales experience in New York City
-Strong rapport building, communication, presentation and negotiating skills
-Must be fluent with digital media and online ad server applications
-Minimum 3 years online sales experience with top performance record
-Extensive contact list

The company is a partnership between three media companies specializing in digital publishing, media consulting, creative design and branding. Newly formed, the ad network consists of several popular online publications serving niche content to a highly desirable audience of creative professionals, affluencers and urban independents.
