SR UI Designer, who specializes in Interaction, for fast growth company!

SuccessFactors is the established global leader in providing on-demand, Web-based, integrated talent management solutions that help organizations align, develop, motivate and retain their employees.

As a member of our User Experience Design team, you will help innovate and take our user interface to the next level. Our ideal candidate will be a design liaison with engineering and product management: driving interface concepts, building prototypes, and communicating designs to product managers and developers. Qualified candidates will have a strong interface background, technical skills, and an eye for design. The position is located in San Mateo, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Create and communicate design deliverables such as specifications, templates, storyboards, and wireframes

* Create interactive prototypes according to business, brand, market, and user requirements

* Low-fidelity models to demonstrate viability of concepts

* High-fidelity prototypes to accompany functional specifications

* Develop design concepts and suggest product direction based on design research and functional requirements

* Partner with engineering on the implementation of interactive techniques and technologies

* Work closely with design researchers to support studies and develop recommendations to enhance the visual design

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience as a lead interface designer

* Ability to convert customer and product requirements into a simple and usable product interfaces

* Strong knowledge and experience in hand-coding XHTML and CSS

* Solid grasp of web technologies such as Flash, DHTML, JavaScript

* Familiarity with developing for accessibility and scalability

* Strong design skills including screen layouts, information design, typography, and integrating corporate branding

* Capable of meeting the highest standards of quality in workmanship

* Attention to details

* Exceptionally strong organizational and communication skills

* Ability to self-direct and manage time to meet milestones

The following skills are a plus:

* Visual design experience

* XML, Flex

* Experience working in CVS or some other check-in environment.
