Thrillist.com, the fastest growing men's lifestyle newsletter, has an immediate opening for an advertising sales representative with a strong understanding of the online advertising industry and a passion for humor and success. Primary responsibilities include:

• Lead outbound Sales Campaigns to increase awareness of Thrillist.com among the advertising community and to generate new business immediately.
• Proactively prospecting and qualifying potential new advertising accounts.
• Handling incoming leads for your local market.
• Prospect and penetrate medium to large size organizations to obtain branded marketing dollars.
• Create sales presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel detailing market trends, case studies and Thrillist.com marketing solutions.
• Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions from the results.
• Develop effective sales strategies and advertising products for continued site revenue growth.
• Achieving and eclipsing quarterly revenue targets.

Qualifications:
• 1-3 Year online ad sales/media community experience
• A clear understanding of online ad sales
• Proficient in all MS Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record of meeting and beating sales goals
• A hunger to succeed
• The ability to work independently

Recommended: ability to use graphic design programs
Education: Bachelors degree strongly preferred
Salary: Salary plus commission
