You are the consummate salesman. You’re personable, driven and love to build relationships. You´ve sold advertising in the past and you've done it well, but you’d rather sell stuff you believe in. You are restless and looking to work with an innovative new company that has a quality product that makes for easier sales.
You’re extremely organized, US based (ideally in New York) and a self-starter. You can be out late drinking with a client and up at 8 am to nail a 9 am pitch meeting at an agency.

Job Description
You will offer a compelling advertising product, and a proven way to reach a highly desirable target of creative thought leaders online. This role offers the chance to establish and develop a business with experienced entrepreneurs and, for the right individual, the future potential to develop an executive role within this fast growing company. You will be expected to close sales, manage and build relationships and grow a new venture into a successful enterprise by any means necessary.
Primary Responsibilities
Identifying, developing and closing sales opportunities for the network with Brand advertisers
Developing new accounts
Cold-calling brand marketing directors and agencies
Developing relationships with the correct players in media buy-ing field
Designing value added promotional campaigns
Upselling and cross-selling services
Client retention and relationship management
Managing trafficking and reporting of media campaigns
Job Qualifications
Applicants must have a deep understanding of the internet advertising space and have experience working with brand advertisers and ad agencies in some way. Experience working in either an agency or client side managing an agency relationship is beneficial. Understanding of blogs, online publishing, banners and media plans beneficial. You might not have all of these skills, but you have a few key ones, are a fast learner, and have a willingness to learn new skills. After all, if you can sell, you can sell. We can teach u a lot of the rest.

* Digital advertising experience a plus
* Proven ability to deepen sales in existing account base
* National account responsibilities
* Ability to work with finance team to forecast sales figures
* Excellent presentation and personal skills
* Proven ability to identify and develop business opportunities us-ing a consultative style of selling
* Proven relationship management and development abilities, specifically demonstrable track record of maintaining and growing “account” type relationships (potentially gained in client side organization)
* Good working knowledge of how the internet ‘works’, specifically ad tracking and statistical software
* High level of motivation and a desire to grow and expand with “Client Company”
* Established network of contacts with media buying and advertis-ing agencies a plus
* Online ad sales experience preferred
* Clear ability and desire to work closely with marketing and creative teams
* Excellent writing skills
* Self starter who enjoys entrepreneurial environments
* Good at juggling – managing multiple projects simultaneously
Compensation & Benefits
Base : up to 30k
Bonus/Commissions : likely to be approximately 50k based upon agreed performance metrics, however no ceiling on potential earn-ings
